The men in Riley's life would be enough to keep most women busy, but vampires, werewolves and shape-shifters aren't enough for her. She is tracking down the man who had her kidnapped and was going to use her as an egg machine for his genetic creations. She's a little ticked off about this and is determined to destroy the labs and the hellish creatures he created.
The experimental drug her boyfriend slipped her is causing her some concern as well, because if she changes too much she is going to be forced to become the one thing she is determined not to be: a guardian.
Great literature, it ain't, but it is fun and sexy and won't put you to sleep.
