Temperance Brenner is a forensic anthropoligist working for both the State of Virginia and the Country of Canada in their respective medical examiners' offices. This series is written by a real-life forensic anthropologist, and written well at that.

I was given one of these novels from the middle of the series by a patient in the dental practice where I work. I started reading it and figured there was more that I'd like to know about Tempe so I went back to the beginning of the series to do catch-up reading. I've enjoyed the series so far and am waiting for the latest to come out in paperback so that I can continue.

Ran over to Starbucks after leaving work and both books were there! I picked up this one and left another in its place.

I finally got around to reading this one. I really did enjoy it! I didn't realize this was the first in the series and had picked up a middle book and read that first.

Am sending it out to Fuzzmom this week.
