An einem regnerischen Abend klingelt es in einem Londoner Vorort-Haus an der Tür. Als die ältliche Nelly Didcot die Tür öffnet, entdeckt sie einen hustenden jungen Mann, der nach einem Zimmer fragt.
Nelly und ihr Mann Arthur nehmen den jungen Errol auf, doch was wie Gastfreundschaft und Hilfsbereitschaft aussieht, entpuppt sich bald als ein Netz aus mehr oder weniger sanftem Zwang, aus dem es kein Entrinnen gibt...

Erst wollte ich es gleich releasen, aber als ich es angelesen hatte, dachte ich, jetzt behältst du es doch erstmal. Also die Handlung finde ich nicht gerade mega-spannend, aber unterhaltsam. Da das Buch nicht allzu dick ist- 176 Seiten-, ist es schnell gelesen und sozusagen ein Zwischendurch-Häppchen...

This book was in a parcel that arrived today from Germany. Apparently the BookCrosser lytteltonwitch gave it to misplaced it, and only recently sent it off. The package is of krimi that my husband, javaczuk, loves to read and uses to keep his German fresh. He's a slow reader, and not wont to journal, but when he is done with this, we'll probably release it at the local hostel, one of the hotels with an international clientele, or the german department at the local university. Thank you so much for collecting this for us lytteltonwitch! Your delegate says he thinks "there's another kilo of books for you around here somewhere".
