From samandjack's collection.

From the back cover:
Margaret Atwood. Robertson Davies. W. P. Kinsella. Not necessarily names on thinks of in connection with science fiction. But they, along with Geoff Ryman, John Clute, Scott Mackay, Nancy Kilpatrick, and sixteen others, here make up a volume of the superlative speculative fiction that is alive and well and living in Canada. With this dazzling combination of world-renowned masters and bright new lights, Northern Suns is an adventurous mix of visionary futures, otherworldly fantasies, and strange histories that might have been.

Some nice, different stories. Which was my favorite? Maybe Halo, by Karl Schroeder? Or Divisions, by Eric Choi? Good stuff.

July 1st. Canada day, Citial Hill, as we were moving along in a line up to enter the "Concert on the Hill"
My daughter noticed it on a park beanch. I first told her to leave it alone, someone would be back looking for it. But there was a post-it-note attached to the cover of the book, it read; "Why not read a Canadaian book? Take me home."

CAUGHT IN CITIAL HILL, HALIFAX NOVA SCOITA CANADA
