Spending New Year's Even together was a sacred tradion for Diana Morrison, her husband of 32 years, Eric, and their best friends, Pascale, John, Anne and Robert. The future looked rosy as the longtime friends sipped champagne and talked about traveling together to the South of France. But life had other plans.

Two weeks later, tragedy strikes and Robert suffers an unexpected loss. United in their support, Diana nad Eric, Pascale and John rally to hisside. Convinced that Robert needs a change of scenery, they urge him to join them on the Riviera that summer. But the ramshackles old mansion they rented in St. Tropez-sight unseen-is far from the exquisite villa and sun=drenched gardens touted in the brochure. Cobwebs hang from the ceiling. Beds collapse beneath them. All while a housekeeper is leopard skin and six-inch heels sashays through the house with a trio of yapping poodles. But the biggest surprise is Robert's guest-a much younger actress with mile long legs and a million dollar smile. Diana and Pascale hate her on site. But the men are dazzled. And amid the crumbling furniture, the glorious sunsets, and the strained relationships, more surprises are in store. Each couple finds themselves changing in unexpected ways, as old wounds are healed, new love discovered and miracles unfold..all beneath the dazzling sue of St. Tropez.
