I'm not a big fan of this book. It's the second novel by the authors of "The Nanny Diaries" and while it definitely fits into the Chick-Lit vein, it also continues the pattern of no-named characters. While this method is employed in other novels to make way for an ambiguous character, in this book, it's just annoying. The main character "Girl" spends the bulk of the book looking for a job, then working, then experiencing relationship troubles, the classic lineup. The book however skips around too much and overall, I was unimpressed. That said, it's a NY Times Bestseller, so maybe I'm overanalyzing.
