Journal Entry 1 by BellaMack from St Helens, Tasmania Australia on Sunday, April 15, 2007
Meet Rebecca Bloomwood. She's a journalist. She spends her working life telling others how to manage their money. She spends her leisure time ... shopping. Retail therapy is the answer to all her problems. She knows she should stop, but she can't. She tries Cutting Back, she tries Making More Money. But neither seem to work. The stories she concocts become more and more fantastic as she tries to untangle her increasingly dire financial difficulties. Her only comfort is to buy herself something ... just a little something ... Can Becky ever escape from this dream world, fine true love, and regain the use of her Switch card?

I didn't actually think this book would appeal to me but I read it in one sitting and absolutely loved it! Very funny, kind of Bridget Jonesy type scenario. Great when you are in the mood for a light easy read.

I finished this book a little while ago. This was one of those light and easy, fun reads. All well that ends well seems to be the motto of this book. I liked it, but I'm not crazy about it. Now sending this book of to Jacksmum2004 as a RABCK

I LOVE this book! I read it in about 2 days. It's really easy to read, and the letters are a fun little extra which helps the story along. Many times, I felt myself in Rebecca, being of the same age and knowing what it's like to spot a 'SALE' or 'REDUCED' sign! Brilliant book, and I cant wait to read the next in the series. Thanks again for sharing it!
