This is the second Dirk Pitt novel I've read - there was some comfort in the familiarity of the characters. Pretty good as far as being descriptive and adventurous, with enough genuinenous about the sea to make it satisfying to this former sailor.

will release soon.....

Abridged, on 4 cassettes. Read by Ron McLarty.

I enjoyed this one. For a while there, I wasn't sure where he was going with the Viking connection, but he pulled it all together nicely in the end. (Well, I did think the *very* end was a little weak, but otherwise I liked this very well.)

I think I'll reserve this for my Audiobook VBB, which will be starting in January.

I picked this out of iwillrejoice's Audiobook VBB. I am a fan of Clive Cussler's work. I was first introduced to Cussler's stories by book-man-8 and have read several of his books since. Fun thrillers with quite a bit of action. Thanks for sharing and sending it my way so quickly.
