This is #8 of the Penguin 70 series.

From the cover:

"Marian Keyes spearheaded a new wave of contemporary women's fiction, providing wickedly funny tales of twenty- and thirty-somethings living and loving on the edge. No stranger to the road less commonly travelled herself, Marian has also written two collections of tales and observations from her own life. Nothing Bad Ever Happens in Tiffany's is a small but perfectly formed selections of these."

This is a collecton of eight entertaining chick-lit/travel essays written by Marian Keyes. I really enjoyed Being Sent to Siberia - I nearly laughed aloud reading it on the train this week. And if I ever visit Prague (see Eyes Wide Shut in this book), I want to stay in Hotel Praha :)

Sent to pammykn today (Sept 27).

The 1st essay is a bit matter-of-fact but the rest of essays/travel observations had the humor I am used to when I read a fiction book by Keyes. Thanks for including me in this ring/ray. Will mail off to JennyC1230 on Tuesday 10/09.

This arrived yesterday and I am a tinsey weensy bit disappointed because I have read these stories in one of her other books (I should have researched before I joined the Ring).

None the less, I read them all again, laughed again, reinstated her as my favourite writer (again), and I will get this back in the post as soon as I get the mailing information from the next person on the list.

Received with many thanks!

This really IS a teeny tiny book - I think I got half way through on the bus this morning. What a wonderful idea for sharing books without the hefty postage costs... I shall be keeping my eye out for more of these little numbers!

Will be back soon when I've finished the whole thing...

I loved this wee book and it was perfect for tucking into my handbag to read on the bus!

I'm always so cheered up when I read Marian Keyes and this book reminded me how clever and funny she is for a light read. It also reminded me how long it was since I'd read one of her novels and now I need to go and track down an old copy and bury myself in it!

Thanks so much for this book - I have L1nda's address already and will pop this in the post to her tonight.
