Tale of Adelaide, "City of Light". The story talks about the trial of two serial killers in Adelaide but also includes historical details of the growth of Adelaide as a southern Utopia. Very well told by a noted journalist and riveting reading.

It is actually a guess that this book will finish up at Trattorie OBCZ. Tomorrow I am heading to Christchurch, ostensibly for the annual conference of the NZ Society of Genealogists. That will be good I know, but even better will be meeting with some of my favourite Bookcrossers. Saturday night I'm having dinner chez FutureCat, with Mr Ploppy, Rars, Ritchie? and hopefully Otakuu. Sunday the enthusiastic Chch BCers have arranged a lunchtime Meet-up which may have other BCers including the much travelled Lytteltonwitch there but those I have already mentioned will make for a great occasion. If none of them want to 'find' this book I am sure someone will deliver it to an OBCZ. Somehow I feel it will be snaffled - too good a book to overlook.

Ok, so it took me a while to get round to reading this book!
An interesting look at the contradictions of Adelaide, a seemingly perfect society where horrific things happen. I would have preferred the author to have been a little clearer about which parts were factual accounts and which were her imaginings, but otherwise good.

Has been given to me to read and as Adelaide is a city that I know fairly well I am looking forward to reading it.
