From Tor to the Jim Rigney/Robert Jordan Library and from there to chez czuk.

An amusing addition to the Sherlock Holmes and Dracula Lexicons. Pretty well done, though though towards the end there was some stuff about Sherlock's mother and brother I found hard to add to my Holmes facts, even with a willing suspension of disbelief.

Good reading for a rainy day, though.

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

How refreshing to read a vampire novel that is not a romance. Maybe I like books about Dracula and not other vampires. Dracula's pursuit of some bad men had some very fun moments. I haven't read a lot of Sherlock Holmes novels and I enjoyed his moments in the book so I guess I should try some of his novels.

I felt that the mystery aspect of the story took a back seat to the characters which was fine by me, they were great fun. Dracula striking an equal partnership with some street kids who were hunting rats was pretty funny. Holmes pulling some sleight of hand on Watson ws another part I liked.

Even though I am not a regular reader of Sci-fi/fantasy novels I liked this book a lot.

PS Bookczuk - I agree with what you had to say about Holmes family, there was really no need for that.
