They're wild, beloved, and all-around fabulous, but with the Sweet Potato Queens, there're just never enough good times-or enough good eats. Well, now all fabulous women everywhere can have their own mountains of royal fun and food, because bestselling author and Boss Queen Jill Conner Browne is revealing her big ass top secret recipes-and the events taht inspired them-in the "SweetPotato Queens' Big Ass Cookbook" (and Financial Planner). And, of course, she's dishing up plenty of hilarious stories.

I know it is not your birthday yet but you need a fun read for the summer. A birthday book will come later.

I really truly adore the Sweet Potato Queens. This is the 2nd book that I've read (the first one was The Sweet Potato Queens' 1st Big-Ass Novel) and I already have another (The Sweet Potato Queens' Book of Love) waiting in my TBR pile.

This book is not really a cookbook and should in no way, shape, or form be considered a financial planner. There are recipes that follow various stories that Jill tells throughout the book. The stories vary from how she ended up dating someone 10 years younger than her (even though she was adamantly against such a thing in previous books) to moving her mother in with her and her daughter to way Valentine's Day (and any other gift giving holiday that you might want to create) should be handled. This book is funny x10. And I can't wait to read more.
