So not at all like Paul Theroux to makes you think he hates everyone he meets while travelling and reviles travelling itself Michael Palin's Sahara is easy going and funny and most of all a respectful telling of his meetings with each person that he crosses on his journey.

A great TV series also resulted from his journey. This is a book that everyone can enjoy.

RELEASE NOTES:

I'm going for a drive in the mountains tomorrow so I'm releasing my first book at the cheese factory where I learned to make cheese. I put it on the seat of the picnic tables out the front where people stop to eat the tasty cheese they've just purchased :) Fingers crossed someone finds and enjoys it.

I found this book at the Witches Chase Cheese Factory where I work on a day where i was finding it difficult to resist the urge to get in the car and go on an unplanned adventure myself. When i came accross this book on the park bench in the sun in a funny way i found it quite a romantic gesture, the whole idea of sending books out on their own into the world and hoping someone would be inspired or be touched by the little bit of magic such a book must hold.
