Probably too much of a Shopaholic in too short a space of time. Four books in less than three days. I guess I thought the premise was a bit too contrived ("Hmmmm, next book.... can't go straight from marriage to baby - I know! Lets do one about a long-lost relation! And have her be the opposite of the main character!")But it was ok, and I wanted to know what happened enough to finish it.

My gut feeling is that book #5 will be better, but I have no idea when I'll find a copy of it as I've banned myself from buying any more books/trading whilst saving for my Masters!

Shopaholic Book Spiral!

Here's how the book spiral works:

I send book #1 to the first person on the list. After the person has read this book they send it on to the person after them on the list. Meanwhile I'll send out book #2 to the first person. And so on.
It is really easy! - Just like 5 bookrings in a line.

The books I am offering for this book spiral are:

All books have been written by Sophie Kinsella. The first two volumes have been made into a movie ("Confessions of a Shopaholic" starring Isla Fisher). There is a 6th book out just now, called Mini Shopaholic, which I haven't got a hold of for the book spiral yet.

I will only accept members who had at least 25 bookcrossing books coming in or going out of their home so far, and who were active members of bookcrossing for the past few months.

The first four finally made it over to the Alps after their long journey (by sleigh? on foot? kayak?) - they'll probably get a chance to catch their breath here as I'm pretty busy these days, but at least it's snowing for the first time in weeks so they can try out the slopes and prepare to continue their journey on ski, snowboard or snow shoes when i'm done. All silliness aside, thanks for sending and making them available, I'll try to get to them soon.

This may be the one I've liked best so far... Maybe because, like a glass of water after something dreadfully sweet, I found myself really appreciating Jess! I also had a lot of empathy for Becky and her reaction to Lulu, and was glad to read about the very real jealousy and sense of betrayal which can arise in close friendships.
