This book was passed on to me by a friend with permission to bookcross it once read.
This is a much slower book than SW's previous ones and didn't have me hooked in quite the same way, however the post war setting was interesting.
There are four main characters who are first met in 1947 then the story goes back to 1944 and then to 1941, I found that I became more interested once the characters history started to be revealed.

Well, I found this book on my trip to get a Costa hot chocolate in Nottingham after going to see Snowpatrol live the night before, just before getting my train. I've now let it travel with me to Coventry.
