This little Scottish nursery rhyme is a fond memory for me. My Scottish-Canadian mother, who died when I was quite young, used to recite it to me very often-- probably in hopes that Wee Willie Winkie, a Scottish "sandman" type figure, would visit soon and I'd let her get some sleep! LoL
