From the front cover:
A CLASS REUNION BRINGS TOGETHER OLD FRIENDS, OLD ENEMIES... AND A NEW MURDER
Miss Zukas and the Island Murders
by Jo Dereske author of Miss Zukas and the Library Murders
From the back cover:
ISLAND GETAWAY
An anonymous note in the morning mail reminds librarian Helma Zukas of her long-forgotten promise to bring her high school classmates together for a twenty-year reunion. Never one to break a promise, the very conscientious Miss Zukas plunges into the task of organizing the perfect celebration... despite some mysterious warnings of dire consequences.
But someone is sabotaging her well-laid plans for an island get-together, and soon the old classmates find themselves stranded on a fogbound island with a murderer in their midst. Help can't reach them from outside, so it's up to Miss Zukas, with a dubious assist from her raffish friend Ruth, to close the books on crimes both current and overdue for solution - before the killer takes her out of circulation... permanently.
Join Miss Zukas as she solves another perplexing mystery in MISS ZUKAS AND THE LIBRARY MURDERS

Mailed today. Enjoy!
3 books received today !
Thank youuuuuuuuuuu !
It was my birthday on January, 15th ;-)
I was really really surprise to receive this parcel of 3 books \o/
I'm really keen on reading female detective novels and I love to discover new characters. And I must say that through BC I can read books that are not published in France yet or that would never be published here.
That's so great ! YOU'RE SO GREAT !
THANKS !

Nice read ! It's a real cosy mystery in which the relationships between characters seem even more important that the murder itself.
I'm a librarian and it was really funny to read about Miss Zukas' work ;-)
Thanks again !
The book's on its way to boucli, the first participant of this bookray.

Received yesterday, thanks a lot bilbi... A book to finish before reading this one...
Finished last night ! I agree with bilbi that the main thing here is the relationships between characters (Ruth and Helma are so different !)...
I'm not sure I'd read another one of this series but it was nice to discover Miss Zukas !
I'm asking for brujula's address and there is goes !

Bien arrivé tout à l'heure, dans une enveloppe très bien scotchée, avec de très jolis timbres.
Merci!
Merci!
This was an entertaining read, with all high school memories, and really particular characters.
I'll pass it on to icila.
I'll pass it on to icila.
A classical "island thriller". I agree with the former readers : I appreciate the synergy between the two main characters. I also always like to discover a new land, I'm curious about the San Juan archipelago.
Je donnerai ce livre à EnigmaGryphon en mains propres (je vérifierai) bientôt.

Finalement il est parti par la poste.

Received well, to be read soon.
Read and sent right away!
A classic case of "huis clos", i.e., everyone is locked in a room or, like in this case blocked on an isolated piece of land (here an island), this 10-years-old-reunion turned out to be anything but the happy meeting it was meant to be...
I think I will take it if I find another book from Jo Dereske.
