The Cornish Trilogy

"Woven around the pursuits of the energetic spirits and erudite scholars of the University of St. John and the Holy Ghost, this dazzling trilogy of novels lures the reader into a world of mysticism, historical allusion, and gothic fantasy that could only be the invention of the inimitable Robertson Davies."
I love, love, love this! It's now my favorite Robertson Davies, by far. It has everything and it's beautiful.
This is on its way to rooshill in California as a surprise RABCK...
Thank you so much! I put some Davies' books on my wishlist at the recommendation of another 'crosser quite some time ago. I can't wait to get into these - no, wait, yes, I can (sigh)because I have to. :) I've got to get several score out the door before I get to read any new stuff. It'll snuggle up on Mt. TBR for a while, but I'm intrigued, so it'll be near the top of the list when I get back to "cuz I feel like it" reading.
Sigh...here's a funny thing. I was just thinking, "OK, I'll journal this and send it on. The first book in the volume was OK, but I really don't know if it's worth continuing on with the next two. I have so many books and so little leisure time anymore." Then I came to journal and read how much the previous journaller "love, love, love"[d] it, and I'm having second thoughts. Perhaps I'll give it a second chance today and see if it grabs me.
