9 out of 10

I read this book a couple of years ago so I'm going to send it out as a small US-only bookray. Please PM me to join.

My thoughts of the book from the other book's journal entry... I enjoyed this book overall. The first 300 pages were difficult for me to get through, but after that the book started to pick up and I couldn't put it down. It was very educational.

8 out of 10

I've wanted to read this book for a long time. And I'm glad I got the chance to read it - finally. I enjoyed the book quite a lot. I especially liked the family saga (a VERY disfunctional family) Cal/Callie was a wonderful narrator. I learned a lot about the history of Detroit and about the family secret whose product is Ca. Truly a novel with epic scope!!

Waiting for NerdyBookGirl's address. I hope to get it in the mail this week.

Thanks for hosting this ray, chambejd.

This book turned out to be a great read. Jeffrey Eugenides was masterfull in weaving his plot. In addition to being a great story, it was also quite educational: the biology, genetics, psychological makeup of intrasexed individuals; and history of Detroit in the 50's-70's.

I am waiting for the address of the next person on the list to mail it off to them. I hope they enjoy it as much as I did.

This book came in the mail a few days ago and I forgot to journal it. I thought this was an interesting book but not one I would recommend. I just couldn't get into it. This book will be off to the next reader as soon as possible.

The book arrived and I thought I had journaled it's arrival, but apparently not. Anyhow, it's on the top of my TBR list and I hope to finish it up and pass it on soon.
