10 out of 10

Book one in Mary Stewart's fantastic Arthurian saga. My Kindred Spirit gave me a copy of this book long ago and I enjoyed the tale thoroughly. I love different versions of Arthurian legends and this one is no exception. I adored reading about the beginning of everything and reading fantasy written so well that it feels real and historical as well as exciting and compelling.

Bought off a library sale shelf.
