Welcome to the world of Michael Marshall where a female FBI agent and her partner face a secret brotherhood of serial killers born and bred to commit the most violent acts known to man.

The third and final novel in the Straw Man trilogy. Better than the last one, with much more action.

9 out of 10

As soon as Mike finished reading The Upright Man, he read this, and then wondered if there would possibly be other books in the series.

I finished the book now, and it does leave the things open just a bit in the end, hoping that .. perhaps there is a follow-up in the story. I'd go still with a 8 1/2 * rating but rounding it up as the series is overall nice and Mike likes it a lot too. Hmm - now what to read next is the big question...

"Don't ever apologize to an author for buying something in paperback, or taking it out from a library (that's what they're there for. Use your library). Don't apologize to this author for buying books second hand, or getting them from bookcrossing or borrowing a friend's copy. What's important to me is that people read the books and enjoy them, and that, at some point in there, the book was bought by someone. And that people who like things, tell other people. The most important thing is that people read... "
