Set in pre-historic times, this story tells of a young girl who is separated from her family and meets up with the Clan of the Cave Bear - a people who are very different from her own people.

I got this paperback book from someone who was moving and offered up a couple boxes of books through Freecycle. I've already read this one years ago and recall that my father really enjoyed this series also.
