oh LOL! I really thought I didn't have this book yet, which confused me, because I thought I finally had the whole set!
I did have it. I just never registered it :) Good thing I decided to put the books in order on my shelf (I've finally started the series, and wanted to have them all in order), or I might still have this one on the wish list!
Anyway, I have it and now I'm registering it.
Here is the order of the books, so I can keep track.

This is a charming series, and I whipped through it in about a week and 1/2. Of course, I refused to stop after each one and write a journal entry ... I just opened the next one and kept reading! I'm very sad that this was the last book, and I almost didn't start it, because I knew that when I finished it, I'd be done with the whole series, and I didn't want to be done!
In this one, they're still connected to Mitford, as they farm-sit at Meadowgate, and open a church that's been closed for 40 years. There's sign language, squirrel meat, extra eggs, and a chicken thief in this one. Plus more members of the Barlowe family.
One of the many things that choked me up in this one is when someone tells the father he won't pray -- that he tried it once and didn't get an answer. "That's OK," said Father Tim. "I'll do it. And Cynthia. And Dooley." And Emma, he thought, and Buck and Pauline and Marian and Sam and Agnes and Clarence ...
That's it -- the series is over, and I loved it.
