Our Bookring begins!
I've sent this book of to MyssCyn in TX:)
Enjoy!
**Here's my Westie, Scarlett:)
Yeah! This arrived today and I was a bad girl... I kept trying to read it at stop lights. It (and I) made it home safely and I will read it tonight with my "badonkadonk" properly wedged in a chair while my husband watches the Astros game.
Thanks so much for this great ring.
DeeOhTea thank you so much for starting this ring! Marley & Me had to be the best book I've read in ages. It was hysterically funny then heart wrenching. I cried twice and the darn thing (along with my husbands snoring) kept me up until 2AM last night. I finished it today during the 2nd Astros game. (I hope we win this one!)
If you've ever owned a totally "whacked" dog you'll see you aren't the only person to lose your mind and keep a friendly monster in the house.
I plan to buy many copies of this book and give them for Christmas presents this year.
This arrived today- thanks so much! I will start this within the next couple of days, as soon as I finish Inkspell.
After some thought, I've decided to put finishing Inkspell on hold and starting this immediately, so I can get it mailed out when I get paid friday. =) I already have GrannyAnn's address, and all I need to do now is read it!
(my cockapoo- Sunny)
First of all, thanks so much DeeOhTea for sharing this wonderful book!
Like Cyn, I found it impossible to put this book down!
I laughed and cried as I shared the Grogan family's misfortunes with their hyperactive dog, and couldn't help but nod in agreement over some of the mishaps my own dog has shared with Marley. This book was wonderfully honest, and though I'm rather glad my Sunny is relatively calm compared to Marley, Marley sounds like he would have been a lot of fun to be around!
I'll be sending this on to GrannyAnn in the next few days.

RELEASE NOTES:
Decided to take Sunny out for a joy ride to the post office. It was a lot of fun, but my brand new car is now covered in dog hair... looks like it'll need it's first cleaning tomorrow.
This book was waiting for me when I got home from work today. I have one book almost finished and then I start this one. I can't wait!
Thanks for the note, LadyKnightNiko, I'll keep the tissues handy.
DeeOhTea, thanks for hosting this ring!
I loved this book! There were so many things that Marley did that my wonderful Golden, Ginger, did too. She was one in a million, although, thankfully, not as crazy as Marley. Parts of the book had me laughing out loud. And also crying - yes, I needed the tissue box!
There is nothing as wonderful in this life as the unconditional love of a dog. I thank John Grogan for sharing his stories. Any one with a dog can relate to many of them.
I have the next BCer's address. I'll be getting it in the mail in the next few days.
Thanks again for sharing this book.
Mailed via media mail. Delivery confirmation 03063030000249196833.
Enjoy!
Received book today - can't wait to read! Thanks.
I loved this book! It made me laugh and I had to work very hard to avoid bursting into tears in our office breakroom as I finished reading on my lunch break today! My Dad had a whacked out, obsessive compulsive Border Collie named Yoda and like the author of the book, no matter how weird she was, we still loved her!
This book should be required reading for everyone who is thinking about getting a puppy.
Thanks for sharing the book! I've got the address for the next person on the list and will be sending it along shortly.

Sent the book via media mail to Bluestocking88. Enjoy!
It arrived safely and is waiting patiently in my TBR pile. Sit, Stay, Good book.
Thanks for sharing!
Okay, first I must apologize for having it for so long. Did I really get this in June? Whew! My mom borrowed it while I was out of town and loved it, and I just finished it so now it''s ready to go. I pmed istopforbooks for her address when Marley arrived, but one of our pm''s must have gotten lost. I pmed her again tonight and hope to get this moving early next week.
I just love that the Grogans kept Marley and were able to love him just as he was. We had one like him and it''s so reassuring to know we aren''t the only crazy dog people out there. Beautifully written and a great tribute to a goofy dog. Thanks for sharing!
This just came in. I'm finishing one ring. have one waiting and then this one is next, but all should go quickly.
I loved this book. Had I erased "Marley" and inserted "Pastrami" it could have been stories from our lives with our Black Lab, who was a huge part of our family for 14 years. I wound up with puffy eyes after reading the ending (even though I knew where it was going), and I just enjoyed the writing style, fun and light, but not trivial. He brought me into his home and into the daily life and tribulations of bringing up a dog. A great book!
Just got it in the mail today. Can't wait to get started!
I really enjoyed this book. I'm a dog lover, and Grogan's imagery was so incredibly vivid, I couldn't help but laugh out loud at some of Marley's antics. It's a great story with a beautiful and touching ending that made me want to hug my own pet and keep him close.

Shipped off to Ohio today!
This arrived a few days ago. I'll be starting it tomorrow!
I LOVE MARLEY!!!
Wow. This was such a great book! Growing up, I had a 'Saint' of a dog as well. But since I've married, we've had many dogs. I swear that the author must have rolled bits and pieces of each of them up into Marley. I wish I knew how to put a picture of my almost 11 year old black German Shepherd (whose ears never stood up), Kavik. He has already outlived each of his parents age, we lost them 2 years ago. His hips are failing and his muzzle is full of grey. We know we are running out of time with him - and we love him so much. Thanks to John Grogan for reminding me to enjoy every second we have left with our wonderful, always faithful, Kavik.

Sent this out in today's mail. Sorry it took so long - I've been waiting on an address for another book to get in the mail, I got tired of waiting:)
I caught this in the mail on Saturday. Thanks for sending it.
Cute book. This should be a manual for future pet owners to help them realize that having and properly caring for a pet is a big responsibility. Very funny dog.
Just got in the mail today...can't wait to read it!!!
I loved this book!!! It was funny and sad but a great story about how dogs can enrich your life. My dog, Missy, is nothing like Marley but is my best friend!!! I hope I have her many more years to come too!!!
This is on it's way to angela861.
I received the book today! I will begin reading it as soon as I complete my current book. Thank you DeeOhTea for sharing!
Very cute, quick read. I have a little "monster" who tries to rule the world. She will never be in Marley's league but keeps me on my toes all the same. I enjoyed the way Grogan walked you through his family's life w/ Marley. His antics made me feel a little better about my Gracie's colorful personality!
I will send this back to DeeOhTea on Monday.
