Red Hat Society's Domestic Goddess
3 journalers for this copy...
Picked up at the San Antonion Friends of The Library Tent Sale for trade or wild release.
I'd started reading this copy while I was in PA. Met up with nancynova who was dropping off her daughter at Penn State while I was visiting my grandbabies. We exchanged books.
I gave away another copy of this one and still have a third. Not a bad story to pass the time.

traded with MyssCyn yesterday, when we just happened to be in the same town in Pa! Found the other Red Hat book I have and shelved these two together for later reading.

I decided to read this book this month because it met Plum-crazy's "What to Read for July" theme of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass with RED being an acceptable word. I knew I got this one right when the first paragraph opened: "Feeling like the rabbit in Alice in Wonderland, Millie Truman pulled her gray Taurus into the driveway of her condo and impatiently pushed her garage door opener. Late. She was running late. But like the rabbit, at least she looked good." Millie starts a Bachelor's Survival Class for her cleaning challenged sons with the help of a couple of her Red Hat sisters. This was a fun read. I will be passing it to one of my Red Hat Sisters at an upcoming Red Hat Hoot!
*I have to note that it warmed my heart to see that this book was originally registered by fellow bookcrosser and friend MyssCyn (gone but not forgotten).

I took this book to a Red Hat Swap today. This book left with a new reader.
