I liked this book, but at times I just had to skim over a bit of the description or monologues. Some sort of like scenario, which will bring civilization's destruction, is probable. So, it was good to read Atwood's take on that idea. It was also depressing to read it but, hey, the world won't end with laughter, I am sure. In fact, the ending of this book would certainly daunt the hardest heart and mind--I am still screaming with frustration! I will bring this book to the April meeting for release or return.
