Hmm, not quite sure what I made of this! It was ok, but I can't really say that I enjoyed it that much. Had it been a longer book I may have given up on it.

Will find a new reader for this soon.

I picked this off our boookshelf to read because I've heard so many things about it and it's a 1001 book.

I actually quite enjoyed this book, although the vision of the future it created was quite scary in that you can see some things already starting to move towards how they are in the book. This was a good story with some interesting characters.

Managed to convince my book club to read this as our material for this month, started reading a few days ago.

An interesting read, well written, but for me there was something missing, it was lacking that bit of humph. I think it may have been because I didn't care for any of the characters with the exception of Clarisse, Montag just didn't do anything for me as a main character and as a result I wasn't as gripped by the story.

All in all an interesting idea, a good read but there are better books of this type out threre.
