The second book in the Otori trilogy. This was a real page turner and very elegantly written.

I thought as I had picked up Across the Nightingale Floor I might as well have the second one too or it would only annoy me later.

I think I found this an easier read than across the nightingale floor but I think that was just because I'd already got my head around who everybody was with the first book. This did feel quite like a middle book as it was moving the action on and not as many conclusive things happened as you would expect from a stand alone book but that didn't hamper my enjoyment of it.

To be released at York Meetup tonight.

A lonely heart at the November York Meetup. I haven't read the first one - perhaps you could let me know if that matters before I try it?

Picked up at the Leeds meetup. I haven't read the first one either! But this looks right up my street so I will keep an eye out for it.
