In 1971, the cancellation of TV's Hogan's Heroes signalled the end of a brief career for Bob Crane. Fighting obscurity for 7 years, the last act of Crane's life was finally played out in the rented privacy of an Arizona apartment. Thjere. the actor was strangled and bludgeoned to death - his nude corpse surrounded by pornogrphic snapshots of himself with numerous women, homemade videotapes of the actor's S&M orgies and sex dungeons, and few clues to the killer's identity. For 14 years, Hollywood whispered one question....

I don´t know the actor. The book is very interesting. Worth reading.

07.08.12: As a child I loved to watch "Hogan's Heroes" (in german "Ein Käfig voller Helden"). This book tells the sad story of Bob Crane's life and death and the still unsolved crime. If the book would be the German translation, I would give my dad to read it. He loves the tv series and he would be interested in the book.

Will be released somewhere in London between 30/12/2012 and 05/01/2013.
