Journal Entry 1 by momx3lovesbooks on Saturday, March 03, 2007
It all started with the social studies teacher's extra-credit assignment, come up wit a plan to change the world for the better, and do it. 12 year old Trevor McKinney began by doing something good for three people. But instead of paying him back, he asked them to "pay it forward" by doing a favor for three more people, who in turn would help three others, and so on, each act a link in a chain of human kindness. An on one-not his teacher, his mom, or anyone in his small California town-could ever have dreamed of hos far Trevor's plan would go.. 05/26-sending to my MIL 10/24-back from MIL 12/30-mailed to bookmooch member

Journal Entry 2 by FCHS on Thursday, January 08, 2009
I mooched this on bookmooch and read it immediately. I absolutely loved it! I thought it would be schmaltzy rubbish, but it was handled much more sensitively and much less idealistically than I imagined. I'm not sure yet what I'll do with this copy: I would love to keep it, but I feel obliged to 'pay it forward'!
