Blurb:
Many millenia ago, in our timeline, a race of humans called the Neanderthals died out. ... It is into this culture that Ivan and Josie, two people from the 21st centure, are suddenly flung. They are totally unprepared, in a totally alien world, and theirs is a journey of fear and survival."

Fire Dancer is the final book in a loosely linked triology about humanity, responsibility and freedom.

This was the closest genre to fantasy that I have available on my bookshelf. I am sending it to Jennymidget with a wishlist book. No obligation - read or release!

Read this series a while ago, in highschool I think. I don't really have the time or patience to track down the other 2 now, so I'm passing it on to RockDg9 out west (well not too far out west!) for now.

This was a very interesting premise and I like Kelleher's exploration of time travel theory and the nature of time. However, at times, it felt a little too much like it was trying to be educational from a historical viewpoint ... it seemed to read like a documentary about Neanderthals and their life.
