This book box is going to West Bridgeford Farmers' Market today to be passed over by hand to YowlYY. This will be the first time I've met another BookCrosser face-to-face - and I'm so looking forward to it. And to discovering the good food on offer at the farmers' market! Finally, I decided to keep Falling Angels and The Scold's Bridle to listen to and I am adding:- Maya Angelou The Heart of a Woman Terry Pratchett Pyramids Happy choosing - and listening, YowlYY

Journal Entry 5 by YowlYY from Nottingham, not specified not specified on Saturday, March 10, 2007

Well received today after a nice chat at Cafe Nero, facing the farmers' market :) Nothing like meeting fellow bookcrossers and winning more customers for local produce to boost my weekend! I wasn't allowed to open the box in the cafe, but I could tell from the weight that it was something special...so once home I discovered not only the huge selection on audiobox, but also the hidden chocolate well disguised among tapes and CDs! I will try to hurry up and make a choice this weekend, so that it can leave again some time next week to surprise the next book listener...

I have finally interrupted my fruitless search for an audiobook that I would have loved to include to this box, but alas I cannot find in my chaos... I wonder where it has gone?!? Because of this, I am removing only ONE item from the box and replacing with another: my choice is "Cold Granite" by Stuart MacBride, whose place in the box is being taken by Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (BCID is in the booklet accompanying the CDs). It hasn't been easy to pick up one only, but then rules are rules..! I have, of course, replaced some of the sweets travelling with the box, so that the next in line can have a nibble of chocolate while browsing the content. Thanks again to Sterile, who has proved to be a superb organiser offering us such a spoiling choice of titles! The box is travelling tomorrow to Sunlightbub - happy listening and rummaging!

Wodehouse This has been a fascinating window on the vast range of literature available in audio format. Many apologies for not getting it off sooner, and thanks to Sterile for sending this out.

Journal Entry 22 by smurphie from Banchory, Scotland United Kingdom on Thursday, January 03, 2008
Well a strange thing happened this morning this turned up with the Postie and I wasn't expecting it back. The box looks like it has taken a real beating in fact it is falling to pieces. There was no address label or postage label on it and I would say the box had been resealed at some point in it's journey. I think the only reason it got back to me was away back when I posted it I put a return address label on it. Will PM Sterile and ask what she wants done with it and get a new box when I get back to work next week after my holiday's and get it repackaged ready for it's further adventures.
