I loved this book! One of my favourite books of all time. I found this duplicate in a op-shop and had to set it travelling.

From the blurb:
Mark Brian, a young Anglican priest who has not long to live, is sent to the Indian village of Kingcome in the wilds of British Columbia. While sharing the hunting and fishing, the festivals and funerals, the joys and sorrows of a once proud tribe, Mark learns enough of life to be ready to die.

Removed from the Quick Turn Around Bookbag. Thanks DrCris.

I agree, this is a great book. I've read it twice, and this is the third copy to cross my shelf. The other two have moved on though, and so will this one after another quick read. I love sharing it with people.

Picked up the book around noon at the bus stop Galgenfeld in Berne. I was a bit suspicious at first, I thought a kid had forgotten a library book on the bench (there's a school nearby). I'll give it a try.
