Another surprise book, thanks! This looks like a fun read.
From the back:
"Way down South - in Industry, Alabama - 1965 was the year the orphan Peejoe discovered it wasn't safe to treat black people the same way you treated whites. Perhaps it was around the same time his Aunt Lucille arrived with her husband's head in a Tupperware box - he never could be sure.
But with Lucille taking off on dreams of becoming a Hollywood star, and Martin Luther King making headlines all over town, Peejoe suddenly finds himself in the middle of a long hot summer of riotous, magical change..."
This is a hilarious, macabre tale well worth reading. A wonderful suprise!
Now going to Liinuskainen who picked it in a circling envelope on the Finnish forum based on the first page. Hope you enjoy it!
