Book description:
Prepare to be seduced by powerful magic -- the sorcery of lust, need, and sensuality. Multiple award-winners Ellen Datlow and Terri Windling have gathered together twenty-two tales of unearthly temptations wickedly concocted by some of today's most potent literary conjurers -- including Neil Gaiman, Jan Yolen, Michael Swanwick, and Joyce Carol Oates. Here are stories of incubi and succubi, of forbidden fruits harvested in erotic gardens, of pleasures that persist beyond death. So heed the sirens' song. Lie back, relax, and submit to the darkest delights you have ever experienced.

Taking the book to February Helsinki bookcrossers' meeting. Happy reading!
Joo, se oli siellä miitissä, mutta joutui lopulta Kirjaston 10:n koriin, josta sen sitten poimin...kuitenkin.
Kohta se onkin jo Tampereella!

I took the book at the bookcrossing meet-up that took place in Finncon 2012. I've read Neil Gaiman's Tastings before, but the other stories are new to me.
I think I said something along the lines "Does this contain some kind of tentacle porn or something? All right, I'll take it." - again. Hehe.

I've read this book slowly, one or two stories at a time. The stories were diverse, like they usually are in this kind of collections. Some I liked, some not, some I didn't quite understand. My favourites beside the aforementioned Tastings were The Faerie Cony-catcher, Wolfed, Mirrors, Midnight Express, Bird Count and The House With Nine Doors.
