'The Keys to the Kingdom
Breathtaking new magical adventure series from award winning international bestselling author Garth Nix.
Mister Monday slowly reached inside the left sleever of his silk robe and pulled out a slender metal spike... He spoke too quickly for Arthur to make out what he was saying. He didn't slow down until he reached the final few words. "And so let the Will be done."
Arthur Penhaligon is not supposed to be a hero. He is supposed to die. But then he meets sinister Mister Monday and everything changes.
Seven Days.
Seven Keys.
One Mysterious Book.
One Strange House Filled With Secrets.
Dare Arthur enter and accept the fae that awaits him?'
Got free when I pre-ordered the new - and final - Harry Potter book from WHSmith's. I've heard of this author but haven't read him till now. Still, a free book is a free book!

Never read, so off as a RABCK to Hakkalina in Budapest.
Which, worryingly, always reminds me of the Lerner & Lowe musical 'My Fair Lady' and Rex Harrison as Professor Higgins crying 'There never was a ruder pest!' - apologies to the lovely city and it's inhabitants who are doubtless all perfectly polite...
Thanks for signing up for the two Michael Morpurgo rings I seem to be hosting Lina - hope you enjoy this Garth Nix novel from your wishlist :)
Hope to post from Brampton Post office on Thursday 22nd January 2009.

Wow! As I arrived home, I found a little package in my mail-box. It contained this book. Thank you AgnesXNitt. I am so happy, this is a beautiful day! :-)
Update 2009.02.17.
I "read" it through, with not reading every pages. Earlier I had read more reviews on it, also the first chapter, and found it interesting. Even if the story is good, the writer's style wasn't my cup of tea, somehow it couldn't make me excited to continue. Maybe one time in the future ...
But it won't stay on my shelf, remain faithful to "tradition" this RABCK book will continue its way to France as a RABCK. :-)
I send it to moonpixie who is also interested in this book.
