Originally published as "Rosie Dunne", "Love, Rosie" is Cecelia Ahern's second book, which I found to be as funny and heartwarming as her first novel ("PS, I Love You"). The entire story is told through correspondence such as letters, emails, and IM's. At first, I wasn't sure if I would enjoy reading a story without traditional dialogue ... but after just a bit, I became used to it and the story amazingly flowed right along.
This is one of my favorite books, so I'd like to send this on an International BookRing so that others may enjoy it as well. I'm going to limit the Ring to the first 5 takers, and then I'll 'route' the book according to geography of those interested. I'll publish the routing-list as a journal entry and also on a post-it inside the book.
I look forward to hearing what my fellow BookCrossers think about the story and the way in which it was written!

Love, Rosie arrived in the mail yesterday. I can't wait to read it, Cecelia Ahern is one of my favourite authors, thanks BethanyKay!
Due to some computer technical difficulties I was not able to journal this book right away. I am very sorry for my delay. I have however read it and thoroughly enjoyed it. Truthfully I had many moments where I laughed out loud and moments where I cried right along with Rosie Dunne (or my favourite, Rosie Bumme). Although it was very predictable in its ending, I loved it! It is nice to feel comfort in an ending! Thanks BethanyKay for turning this into a ring! It will be sent on to the next bookcrosser as soon as I have an address.

Thanks BethanyKay for allowing me to participate. I have to say, this was my least favorite of Cecelia Ahren's books that I have read. To me Rosie came off as a bit of a flake, just floating through life, often blind and complaining but not willing to take action. Have pm'd momofap for her address and will be releasing asap.

This was such a touching story. I enjoyed every minute I spent with it, and was sad on the days when I could not find time to read it. This author has a style of writing that makes her readers feel like her characters are your friends. I would of liked to know a little bit more about the characters: Kevin and John. Did Kevin just use his sister to get ahead in life? Was John really "in love" with Katie? Will seek out other books written by this author. I will send this book on as soon as I have an address for the next person on the ring.

Well, after 2 months in the hands of the USPS, I'm afraid that this book has been lost in the mail :( In the spirit of keeping my bookring going, I have purchased a new copy of this book (Yay for Half-Price Books!) and am going to send it off to the next reader in the ring tomorrow. Hopefully the postal service won't let us down twice in one bookring! :)

Ok, so after over a YEAR of repeated/fruitless attempts to contact vicki9170, I would say that this book is officially lost/stolen. I don't know if it was ever sent to LadyIndigo in Australia, but it was definitely never received ... so I'm getting a new book and will continue this bookring. Checking with my ring participants now to make sure everyone is still interested!

The book reached me some days ago and I alread readed it.
I don´t know if I liked it... I cried and I was very angry alot of the time...

I apologize that it's taken me so long to finish reading this book. I really liked the email/letter/IM format -- it was kinda neat and it was different.
However, the story frustrated me beyond belief. I had to keep putting it down because the characters (Rosie and Alex) about drove me to drink.

Finished this last night and I did enjoy it although at times I found it a little tiresome. What I really liked was the format it was written in, emails and letters.
