It arrived yesterday. Thank you!
Gelesen im Rahmen der Bergabbau-Challenge im September 2013 - Thema: Veränderung
Some years ago, I read "27th City" and I remember, not liking it because it was so depressing. - So I had not to high hopes for liking this book, even though it has been praised so high in press. But I got surprised: Even though it deals with very depressing themes, it is really good to read, sometimes I had to smile, and in the end I literally got tears in my eyes.
The disturbing thing about the books by Jonathan Frantzen is, that he has such a good knowledge about human nature, that one recognizes one self and the own familiy in his persons. - And I know, I never will give this book to my mother to read. - She would not like it...

Reist nun zu Oedde, die es auf ihrer Wunschliste stehen hat. Ich wünsche viel Freude damit.
Thank you very much for this book off my wishlist, Ina! It was so nice of you to offer.
I don't know yet when I'll get around to reading it but I'll let you know when I do.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
I'm very sad not to have read this one and to release this into the wild today. But I think it's for the best. It has spent too much time on my bookshelf already. Hopefully, a kind reader will find it and enjoy it.
