Journal Entry 1 by Annelis from Kerava, Uusimaa Finland on Monday, February 19, 2007

From Amazon: Book Description Jaybee Corbell awoke after more than 200 years as a corpsicle - in someone else's body, and under sentence of instant annihilation if he made a wrong move while they were training him for a one-way mission to the stars. But Corbell picked his time and made his own move. Once he was outbound, where the Society that ruled Earth could not reach him, he headed his starship toward the galactic core, where the unimaginable energies of the Universe wrenched the fabric of time and space and promised final escape from his captors. Then he returned to an Earth eons older than the one he'd left... a planet that had had 3,000,000 years to develop perils he had never dreamed of - perils that became nightmares that he had to escape... somehow!

Journal Entry 2 by Annelis from Kerava, Uusimaa Finland on Monday, February 19, 2007

This book was my pig number 15 in The Bag of Pigs 2. Valpuri chose this piglet and I hope that Halonhakkaaja will take the pigs Valpuri chose and I need not use the postal services. Enjoy the reading, Valpuri!

Otin, kuriroin ja luin, mutta koska kyseessä on possukirja Valpurille, haluan kirjoittaa omat komenttini tänne vasta joskus myöhemmin.

Journal Entry 4 by Valpuri from Wakefield, West Yorkshire United Kingdom on Friday, March 02, 2007

On the wings of the flying courier this piglet arrived safely to me, thanks to Annelis and halonhakkaaja! This piggy-book wasn't so much of a surprise as other ones, since the first page quite clearly sets the surroundings for a sci-fi story. I haven't read any books from this author though, so I'm really looking forward to get acquainted with him. I'll comment more after reading the book. (The photo is from Kahvila Kaneli, which is a very nice coffee-house where I got this book during the gathering of local bookcrossers.)

Journal Entry 5 by Valpuri from Wakefield, West Yorkshire United Kingdom on Saturday, May 12, 2007
I liked this book a lot. The storyline was quite innovative but yet not too complicated. Since there is only a couple of main characters, you get to know them well, especially Corbell "the lousy loser". Once again I remembered, why I like sci-fi stories the best: they allow you to wonder about different ideas without the usual boundaries of our own culture and society. This book was like refreshing wind blowing through your brains, blowing away the dust of everyday thinking. And of course there was a moral in this story too: Don't mess up with your planet system, since you can't always know for sure exactly where that moon will end up to ;)
