I bought this book more than a decade ago, when I was investigating vegan cooking, because my elder daughter is vegan. It actually has a lot of tasty recipes, although they can be fiddly to prepare. However, my daughter has now left home and I must admit that personally I love cheese far too much ever to want to give it up, so it is time for the book to find a new audience.

This is a bookray, with participants so far being:

PurpleElephant
wyldetwo
LindyB28
WormyOne

This came in the post today, like an extra NSSVS, thanks Krys!

Although I do eat dairy this looks fascinating, most recipes seem to consist of throwing a load of stuff in the blender and whizzing it up, just hope my old blender's up to it!

Did you manage to get some 'nutritional yeast' okay in the UK Krys?

I've assembled a few ingredients, and copied out some recipes, but not actually tried anything yet!

But as I've had this for over a month and I'm going to Camridge to see LindyB28 and PurpleElephant tomorrow, it's time this book moved on.

Will try to remember to post about the recipes when I eventually try them.

It was great to meet you today wyldetwo and thank you for passing this book along. I've been flicking through this afternoon and I'm really inspired to get started on some of these recipes! Will let you know how I get on!!

Sorry I've kept this book so long. I do love cookbooks (especially veggie ones!) and I can't help looking through them, though I am notoriously bad at actually cooking from them!!

Time to pass this on to the next person.

Have contacted LindyB28.

I met Mandy in the Rare Books Room today for a surreptitious handover; it felt very naughty to be leaving the room *with a book* but luckily no alarms went off ;-)

Thanks all. I'm hoping to find some recipes to cook for a friend who is allergic to dairy produce.
