Al Virtue, a London villain, has only once been called to pay for his crimes, and Deena King was the prosecuting QC. Now they must form an alliance, for Deena's son and Al's daughter have vanished. And the trail leads from the London underworld to the headquarters of a Colombian drug cartel.

This book is going off to Weebly who won it in a bookswap game. I hope by the time she gets it she will be out of hospital and well on the way to recovery from her op.

Many thanks for this bookswaplive book. I am home and on the mend and re-united with my laptop - hurrah!!!

I have lent the book to my Mum to read first - she is a bookcrosser but not computer literate so doesn't usually manage to do journal entried.

I really enjoyed this book. It is not an author I have heard of and probably not a book I would have chosen to read - but the story was excellent and I read the book in just over 24 hours as I really could not put it down. I liked the main characters Deena and Al and the story was fast movng andkept you interested gradually revealing that their children's lives were not wuite what the parents thought.
