This was a present from a very religious friend years ago but I've never actually read it as it doesn't particularly interest me. Hopefully it'll find a new - more suitable - home.

From the backflap:
"In his remarkably direct and accessible style, the renowned Christian apologist shows how the power of Christianity manifests itself - not in a single denomination but as "mere" Christianity, a total force. For Lewis sets out to prove that "in the center of each there is something, or a Someone, who against all divergencies of belief, all differences of temperament, all memories of mutual persecution, speaks with the same voice." "

And yes, it's that C.S. Lewis. :)

9 out of 10

I just finished (re)reading this book. It has so much more than I remember in it. I think I am going to put this in my Personal Collection for a while, unless I get a copy of my own.

A great book.
