An Introduction to the Sociological Life, Second Edition
A sociology textbook from a couple of years ago - no idea why I still have it. I do like Erving Goffman.. One of his "more memorable lines": Universal human nature is not a very human thing (p. 26)
From back of book:
Charles Lemert interweaves biography, sociological inquiry, and social processes into a bright, right, subtle fabric - Charles Tilly, Columbia University
Brings in tough questions of race, class, and gender that other introductions bypass - Joe Feagin, past president of the American Sociological Association

I'm currently reading this book, and I'm finding it enjoyable. I recently graduated from UBC, and learning about Sociology is helping me deal with my not-going-back-to-school-September-nostalgia. I have no idea where I got this book, though I suspect I found/caught it a couple of years and it's been in my to be read pile since then. Will be released soon!
I have it now!
