One of Roald Dahl's most famous children's books. Somehow I missed out on it when I was growing up, but it's never too late to catch up on children's fiction :)

Bought second-hand; the cover's starting to look a bit tatty but otherwise it's in good condition.

What fun! Danny lives with his wonderfully kind and fun father in an old gipsy caravan next to their filling station and car repair shop. He helps his dad with the cars and is already a very good mechanic. Then one night he discovers that his dad has a secret hobby and decides to help him to teach the nasty Mr Victor Hazell a lesson!

I really enjoyed this. It's a good, light read for about 9 and older (much older in my case). I recommend it very highly!
