I personally did not like this book. I usually like books like this; fantasy in general. I like the other books realated to this one such as A Wrinkle in Time. but this book never really caught my interest. It was a pain to read the whole thing. I enjoy reading, but i kept reading this one hoping it would get better. The plot was kind of weird. The events that happened in it were so crazy that the book was hard to follow. Also there were a lot of words that were hard to pronounce. The story also moved very slowly. It seemed like they stretched one scene over three chapters. The characters are pretty well developed. They gave off voice and I got a pretty good visual of them. I dont think this book has a message or theme to it, or least I didnt find one.
