This is a book of adventure spanning different times. It starts in modern times and then goes back to a pirate adventure in Puritan times. I like how well the fiction was woven into a story with the historical background. I liked the humor in the book and felt it helped to balance out the danger well. I found the author's note at the end very interesting too.
