This is Bill Naughton's story of the family that used to live at the end of his street when he was a boy. The father a rag-and-bone man and pigeon fancier, mother, six kids, donkey, a cat, and a ine-eyed mongrel dog of remarkable character named nelson.

I found this book in a trolley! It was really exciting because i had heard about bookcrossings but had never acutally found a book before! I really want this book to travel so i plan to take it to New Zealand with me when i go skiing there and then hopefully someone from a further away country will find it and take it back with them!
