Journal Entry 9 by JerrilynnL from Denver, Colorado USA on Sunday, April 29, 2007
I was thinking this was quite amazing that it is taking three books to tell the story but yet, it's not dragging at all. Guess it's a bit like the TV show Lost. Had a perfect sunny weekend to read (and ignore the chores). So finished this one. Here's my choices for who to play the characters if there were a movie: Moira - Ellen Pompeo Blair - Kate Beckinsale Larkin - Matthew McConahay Glenna - Julianna Moore and now the problem, I can totally visualize Cian as Cillian Murphy but not Hoyt. Maybe they are fraternal twins? But still can't picture Hoyt... UPDATE: By the end of book 3 (Valley of Silence), I figured the last two: Cian - Christain Bale Hoyt - Hugh Jackman (they're fraternal twins. :-) )

Just finished reading this book and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cast of characters really is what keeps me reading, as always, I love Nora Roberts characters. I agree with all the actors you stated except for Moira, who I see as smaller but buffer and blond and Cian who I see as dark and brooding. Although I suspect that the next book will be about those two and give me more insight to their characters. I'll read number three then send the three books on their way shortly. Thank you again for sharing. Edit May 28: Sent by air today

Journal Entry 14 by CandyDarling from Helsinki, Uusimaa Finland on Friday, April 04, 2008
Dance of the Gods felt very much like the middle book of the trilogy. The novelty has worn off, but we're missing the climax. The first book, Morrigan's Cross, had me hooked, but I lost interest during Dance of the Gods, and it took me ages to read this book. Somehow Larkin's and Blair's romance seemed a bit bland to me, and the endless preparation for battle wasn't very gripping. EDIT: I became the last person in the ray as I wasn't able to get in touch with eloisamos. The Circle Trilogy is now available.
