Thanks again Shnedwards, should I aim to read this while I'm on the beachs in Borneo then?

I didn’t read this on a beach in a hammock as suggested but I read it while holidaying in Borneo if that counts!

A really well written story with intriguing characters, I felt really sorry for the main characters involved in this and can’t believe how evil Baby Kochamma was!

Pased this on the KT-J.

Received on holiday, I'll be getting onto this next!

I loved this book, the writing is incredible. The amount of description interspersed with the most simplistic sentences make for a really enjoyable and flowing narrative. The story is captivating, with it switching between past and present and between characters until finally the story is all laid out and it is so sad. I'd definitely recommend this and think it fully deserves its place in the 1001 list.

Thanks shnedwards for letting me read this one! I've PMd RustyReader2 for their address so will send this on once I've got it.

It's here! I am finishing up a few bookrays right now, but now that my daughter is back in school, it will be easier to finish reading them all and get caught up!

No worries.

I just received this book as a gift, so I will be passing this copy along to the next in line as to get it moving. My apologies for taking this long with it, but I've had so many books come to me at once...usually not a bad thing, and still isn't really...but it has been hard to read through them all is time.

I will come journal once finished with my copy.
