Got this book today on the mail (thanks a lot Willemijn). It was't quite a surprise since I was asked several times if I'd already got the book by previous signers and other persons interested in this book :) This is turning quite nice :) I plan to sign it very soon and take it with me to my trip to Spain where I'll meet another bookcrosser. Then I'll try to organize a small meeting here in Lisbon with other Portuguese BCers that are interested in signing & reading this book.On the pic you can see Atenea-Nike and me holding the book :) |

I've just received this book (well, I received it this morning, at 4:45 am) from the hands of Mady from Portugal, who's come to spend a few days here. I have already added my own journal entry, with a photo of Vitoria, my hometown. I have enjoyed seeing the "real" handwriting of many fellow european bookcrossers, and reading about their successful meetings has made me feel very envious. In my entry I simple stated how BooKCrossing has made my life better, not only for the adrenaline/serendipity rush of releasing and catching books, etc, but also for the sense of community, of a common love for books that overcomes (most of the time) all other possible differences. I hope this little book travels far far away, and I want to thank Marco for starting it. |

Yesterday I got the diary! Thanks to Muffin77! This evening we will have a spontaneous meeting in Munich for writing something together ... and then pass it on to frank-63 from Stuttgart. At the weekend I will go to Stuttgart and I'd give this to him...

I just got the book from Italy (thank you albatros!) I am excited to get it and read it and I will add some stuff on the next few days. After Portugal it is going to England! I'll post the release notes then. Have fun!

Yippie!! This precious little book arrived at Vienna - and I spent a nive evening reading all the entries, looking at the pictures,...it is a really special book! ANd I´d love to make the same journey!!On Sept 19 will be the first vienniese meet-up and the diary will be part of it. After that the diary will proceed its journey to Finland (Annelis).... |

The day of the monthly Bookcrosser meeting came at last. As I have got the possession of this diary, I decided to travel to Tampere - two hours by train. Well, I made some mistakes in timetables and changing trains and had to walk around Järvenpää for an hour, but at Tampere I arrived in time. Finding the right pub was the easy part of the task.

There were 10 of us at the meeting. We had a good time chatting and talking about books and bookcrossing. Many a book got a new reader again.I only hope we bookcrossers living in Helsinki region can arrange meetings, too! By the way, isn't it the picture of James Joyce hanging behind us? |

Arrived to Stockholm yesterday! Thank you, Annelis. I am so looking forward to read what everyone has written. :)))Then the book will make a short detour around Sweden in a mini-ring before going on to Gyd. It will travel first to Halmstad to mymmel, then to Göteborg to Silverstone and then back to me and on to Spain. |
